George Melies was a pure genius. He made movies even before movie-making-thing get popular. One of his popular work is A Trip to the Moon. The movie is about group of scientist's trip to the moon. They found aliens who lived there and tried to capture them (maybe it was like: Who the fuck are you people? what the fuck are you doing here? get lost or else..). They got captured but succeeded to escape. One of the most popular images still from that movie is this first picture:
Aww, fuck! that hurts.but If I have to choose which one is my fave, it'll be Le Diable Noir. It's very funny and moreover I like it because it's simple and short.
If you're so desperate to watch it, just go to youtube. They got lots of Melies' works there.
